There are many activities you can do indoors when going outside the house is not possible. In fact, times like this are perfect to spend quality time together and have fun with your children. Find activities you can do inside your home that your children can enjoy. However, it is important to consider the age of your kids when listing possible activities. 1. Baking. If you have baking equipments why not let your children join you. You can bake cookies, cakes, muffins, cupcake and other goodies. You can let your children bake their own cake while you supervise. This can be a very exciting experience for them especially if your children have not done any baking before. If you have baking decorating supplies, accessories and kits, allow them to make use of their creativity and let them decorate their own cake, muffins and cupcakes. The best part of this activity is consuming together the goodies that you and your children baked. Not only this is fun but this can be a nice learning experience for your children.




2. Indoor Camping. If you have been planning to do some camping but the weather does not allow such activity then why not take your camping inside. This is a great activity especially if you have little boys. You can make any area of your house your camping site but your living room is more than fine especially if you have fireplace. You can make a tent using some blankets and mantles. Cook foods like barbecue in the kitchen and bring them to the camping area. Snacks and other finger foods are good as well. Tell adventure or scary stories while you share your foods. Turn the lights off and bring the curtains down to add effect.





3. Play video games. If you think that you are not going to enjoy this activity, think again. Why not try it first and see how much enjoyment you can get from this activity. You may be surprised that your children will get excited of the idea of you joining them and you will be ecstatic when you see them getting thrilled of the prospect of teaching you their plays. Also, this can be the perfect time to acknowledge the child within you. Do not worry of finding the right games, you can find many on the Internet and they are for free.
